We start by changing the effect of clinical and medical language, and we substitute with powerful and positive language.
The mind reacts to language with emotion, and emotion creates a physical and chemical change within our bodies. HypnoBirthing uses a language that more gently describes what is happening during birthing, with logical, gentle, non-medical words that evoke comfortable emotions. Below is the medical terminology followed by the HypnoBirthing terminology.
